SERVICE DESIGNER

We are seeking an enthusiastic Service Designer for our global Services & Product Concepts team. This position is preferably based at our head office in Helsinki but can potentially also be located in one of our other operating countries in Europe. Join our team and help us make a difference!

Your key contribution areas

As a Service Designer, you will be at the forefront of transforming customer experiences. You will create and develop end-to-end services, design customer journeys in collaboration with our customers to ensure every touchpoint is seamless and impactful. As part of our cross-functional service development team of experts, you will ensure customer needs are always at the heart of our solutions.

Your key responsibilities include:

– Designing and optimising end-to-end customer experiences, including product and service elements

– Bringing customer and user experience to the core of service development

– Supporting conceptualisation and go-to-market planning

– Initiating and ideating new business opportunities with customers

– Conducting user research and utilising data in service design

– Supporting and strengthening the design thinking and innovation culture

What helps you to shine in this role?

We are looking for a team member whose heart beats for service design and who naturally views the world from the customer’s perspective, focusing on seamless solutions for customer and business needs. Your passion for innovation and continuous learning, combined with your ability to inspire and engage others, will be key to your success. We hope you are eager to provide insights into market drivers in a fast-changing global business environment and drive projects to successful completion.

To thrive in this role, you should have:

– Experience in service and business design, preferably in building B2B services

– UX design know-how and hands-on experience in making digital mock-ups using tools like Figma, Balsamiq, or similar

– An understanding of design thinking approach and agile working methods, or a willingness to learn

– Superb project management skills

– A relevant academic degree

– Excellent written and spoken English language skills

You will be part of our global Services and Product Concepts function that contributes to growth by ensuring we have a competitive service and product offering available for our selected focus and growth industries. This involves developing new products and services, enhancing existing ones, and collaborating with various departments to meet market needs and customer expectations. We are a diverse and ambitious team working in an agile way, ensuring flexibility and continuous improvement. In this role, you will work in cross-functional teams, collaborating closely with other service experts, country organisations, and our customers.
