Our mission is to fight against disposable culture and to lead everyone seeking authenticity to sustainable wool, refined by northern nature. All our wool is fully traceable: we buy it straight from farms familiar to us.

We believe good things are made to last through time. That’s why we want to make something you don’t throw out after wearing it once or twice. Firstly, because you don’t have to and secondly because you never want to.

Saimas Spinnery Oy

Saimas Spinnery, based in Puumala, by lake Saimaa, is the start of a new era for the Finnish spinning industry. Our comprehensive know-how, experience of the international knitting field, plus the state-of-the-art technologies we use, will take the production of Finnish woollen yarns to another level. All our processes are sustainable, environmentally sound and animal-friendly.

Salon seudun ammattiopisto is an Education and Training Consortium offering versatile education opportunities both youths and adults. Textile and fashion studies in our organization are very practical and creative. In our textile and fashion studies a student learns circular economy, print design, printing techniques and many other skills like sewing and embroidery techniques.
