The company is dedicated to producing wood products that are essential for people around the world every day. Metsä Group is committed to regenerative forestry that measurably strengthens the forest ecosystem.

One of Metsä Group’s innovative products is the Kuura textile fibre, which is produced from softwood pulp sourced from the forests of Metsä Group’s Finnish owner-members. Kuura textile fibre is a unique product developed without fossil fuels, converting Finnish wood into high-value textile fibre. This fibre can be used to create both clothing and various technical textiles. According to a recent study, Kuura’s climate impact is significantly lower than that of competing fibres.
