Finnish Textile and Fashion is delighted to host a webinar with Finland’s Ministry for Foreign Affairs on how textile and fashion companies can benefit from opportunities in Brazil and the wider Mercosur trading bloc (Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, and Uruguay).

This webinar will provide an overview of current market opportunities and market entry considerations in Brazil. Also included will a short overview of the EU-Mercosur agreement and what companies can expect in terms of tariff reductions and market access in the coming years. Participants will gain practical insights and how companies from various sectors of the textile and fashion industry can approach these markets.

The session will be led by Sofia Ramos, Senior Advisor at the Consulate of Finland in São Paulo.

You will also hear an overview of the Brasilian fashion industry by Fernando Pimentel, President Emeritus of ABIT (the Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association), and updates about the upcoming Brazilian Circular Fashion Forum by co-founder Américo Guelere from ESGtex.
